In this update, we highlight upcoming events, opportunities to enhance schools’ capacity to integrate comprehensive supports for students, and recent developments in research that contribute to our understanding of effective interventions.

Research Update – October 2017

InterconnectED is developing a statewide infrastructure to facilitate and advance the local integration of education with social services, youth development, health and mental health for children and families.  A growing number of children enter our schools with experiences known to derail healthy child development and readiness to learn, posing long-term consequences for society. But mounting evidence demonstrates that comprehensive student supports can significantly improve outcomes and children’s life chances. We are excited to update you on the work we are accomplishing.
